The City’s Code Enforcement staff respond to potential violations of the City of Laguna Hills Municipal Code to assist in preserving the health, safety, general welfare and quality of life for all residents and visitors of Laguna Hills. The Code Enforcement Division responds to concerns regarding property maintenance, zoning regulations, construction, public nuisances, signs, and land use. When a violation is identified, the responsible parties are contacted and requested to abate the violation, giving the respondent every opportunity to voluntarily comply. If voluntary compliance cannot be achieved, administrative citations are utilized.
Report a Code Violation:
The City relies on community members to report concerns and possible code violations to the City. Code Compliance Inspectors follow up on those requests by conducting a site investigation to determine if there is a violation.
The City’s Request Tracker (https://www.lagunahillsca.gov/requesttracker.aspx) can be accessed 24 hours a day to submit a request, or you may contact the Code Enforcement Division directly.
