Construction & Demolition (C&D) Recycling
The City of Laguna Hills implemented a Construction and Demolition (C&D) Waste Recycling Program to divert C&D material from California landfills and to assist the City in achieving diversion requirements mandated by Assembly Bill 939. This program requires that 65% of C&D waste generated at “covered projects” in the City be diverted from landfill disposal through reuse and recycling. C&D material typically consists of waste generated during construction, renovation, or demolition of buildings, pavements, or other structures.
The City's municipal code prohibits any temporary collection bin to be deposited on private or public property unless provided by the City's solid waste franchisee (CR&R). CR&R provides temporary bin service and C&D Recycling services for your project needs. Contact
CR&R customer service department for more information.
